I should add an apology to Penny for not playing Prince Buster like I said I would. Happily, the mighty Zapatoo stepped into the breach.
I also wanted to add a thank you to bmd who emailed me something about planning before the event and then letting it all hang out on the night. Fortunately, I succeeded in adopting this wise approach (which is not always the case for me) and I had a blast as a result - so thank you bmd for your wisdom.
Respects
Baldy

When we all gonna get together and do something next? Still got to plan the Charlie Reggae memorial dance.
I need to play out as much as possible, I don't care about making money, I just need to play out. It might just save my life......
Respect

I thought that Penny and Mikey had spoken regarding a potential venue for the Charlie Reggae memorial dance.
I had been idly contemplating November for another MIU! - so it'd be good to get an update if there is one. Perhaps I'll be wise to just contemplate (idly or otherwise) a different month altogether though.
Any word fellows?
Respects

Nice one, CD, I've never been in the press box. The Lords establishment may get a (deserved) kicking from time to time but I have admired the way they've been willing to take gambles architecturally. I was (and am) a big fan of the Mound Stand and although that kind of canopy is ten a penny now, it was quite pioneering and adventurous at the time.
