The latest rankings: Algoriddim: 69 Mobtown Ska: 65 DJ Greedy G: 50 Dance Crasher: 35 Sadly, Sleeper's Record Shack is not there Might have something to do with your bandwith. The couple of yours I listened to sounded like they had a bit rate of 32 or 64. Similar to the samples you hear on Amazon.com It's o.k. for 30 seconds to sample something, but not pleasing to the ear for 45 minutes. Especially when there are tons of other podcasts out there better quality sonic-wise. This is not a dig at you, just a suggestion.

All of my podcasts are posted at 40 KBPS, 22 KHZ stereo. This is a good compromise between file size and quality, and falls within the Podomatic requirements (if you don't use a certain sample rate, they enforce a modification). I've listened to my podcasts on my computers at home and at the office, and they certainly sound as good as anyone else's.

For some strange reason, my bandwidth resets itself from time to time throughout the month. Since I'm approaching a reset areound the 20th and have a blank slate again right now, I've decided to unarchiv eall the old shows again. So, if any of you missed them, they're now available for a short time...

In an effort to get back in the top 100, I have thrown down a boss new show. This time at Sleeper's Record Shack, a show called "Motown Meets Trenchtown" - some soul originals and their reggae covers. sleeper.podomatic.com/

Thanks Tim....tracklists coming soon. Jeeky...That tag was a quick piece from my friend Cutty C. My sound partner Swami has been all about the remixes lately, although the next sessions coming for the podcast should be a UK steppers set and then a Radics style '80's punchy rub-a-dub throwdown

New modern roots mix up at bmc.podomatic.com, no theme this time, no specific year, just tunes from the last couple of years that I rate. I started the mix with no idea of what would eventually get in there so it kinda is the choice of that moment and resulted in this. Some well known tunes, some hit-singles, some rather unknown, but all nice in my opinion. Enjoy !
