Just noticed that Bob Brooks is selling a 12" of this Jux tune on an Yvonne's Special 12", says it's a co-production between Jux and Dennis Brown.
So I thought it was a different cut to the one I have on a Joe Gibbs JGM 12"(with production credits to Joe Gibbs), but it's exactly the same cut.
Did Dennis licence it to Joe Gibbs for release or did Joe just put it out too anyway? (And does the JGM 12" go for 30 quid too?)

Gordy, I have that 12 on Yvonne's Special and on the label it says
Published By Emanuel Music
Produced By Junior Delgado
Don't know if that helps at all, but thats all I know!
Cheers, Ian

Sort of "on topic":
Bob Brooks has been collecting Ja music since 1965 according to his eBay listings. I was on Tim P.'s site and saw a small piccy of the good man. I thought he looked a little more youthful ....
anyone?

I'd hazard a guess at saying Bob's about 51/52.
Which would have made him around 12 in 1965.
I bought my first JA tune aged 13 in the early 80s, so it's feasible.

Yes, it may have been Michigan & Smiley's "Diseases" or an Eek A Mouse or a Lone Ranger. I saved up enough money for a small pile of 12"s one weekend, went into Don Christies(after looking it up in the phone book) in Birmingham and asked for "the best records where the singers go bong diddley diddley, oink, ribbit and stuff ...... My first 6 months or so into the music all I bought was current DJ stuff! Respect Gordy
