Just been giving Laurel Aitken's "Woppi King" (Trybute TRRCD02) compilation a listen. The music just suits my frame of mind right now

Compiled by our dear departed friend Charlie Reggae of course.
I'm still up for putting on a tribute night to the man, who's interested?
Respect

It's morning here but last night it was "Rocket to Russia" by the Ramones followed by sides 3 and 4 of Willie Nelson's Greatest Hits. Love that Woppi King disc.

Its afternoon here, but last night's was World Circuit's "Sounds Of Sudan" featuring Abdul Gadir Salim, Abdel Aziz El Mubarak and Mohamed Gubara. Great stuff, especially the first half, feat Salim and Mubarak on oud.

On the way to work this morning Blue Beat 45s volume 7 and the Slackers Slack In Japan live album. And by the back door when I was leaving was a copy of the Blue Beat Special album I won on Ebay at the weekend.

Quoting Gordy: Compiled by our dear departed friend Charlie Reggae of course.
I'm still up for putting on a tribute night to the man, who's interested?...I thought I'd replied to this a couple of hours ago... I'd be up for this, assuming "when", "where" and "funds" all fit (Santana) "Hope You're Feeling Better" today Gordy mate Quoting rosko: I'm savouring "Jamaican Serenades Volume 29". Mighty fineI agree, rosko - my favourite tune on that one is probably Neville Hinds' "Conjunction" - a Charlie Reggae type instrumental if ever there was one
