I discovered this website ages ago. Some very well known pictures and many not so well known. Last week I looked at it for the first time in a while and found they now have loads of scans of labels and album covers. If you haven't seen it already then it's well worth a look; www.urbanimage.tv/browse.htm?loc1=reggae&You can register for free in order to browse through everything

Adrian Boot is not the boss but a very lucky man.
He's a nuclear physicist by trade.
He happened to meet Chris Blackwell when having just left college he was on holiday in Jamaica. The Wailers were justy starting out with Island; Boot was around and took some photos. Blackwell hired him as a photographer.
Jean Bernard Sohiez is actually a much better photographer.
This forum is the reggae photographers' version of Rock's Back Pages, innit?

scotty, you remind me of a guy who sits next to me at Celtic Park. He apparently does not seem to like any Celtic players past or present going by the way he constantly criticizes or undermines them. I wonder to myself why he bothers attending games.

Quoting gryffe: scotty, you remind me of a guy who sits next to me at Celtic Park. He apparently does not seem to like any Celtic players past or present going by the way he constantly criticizes or undermines them. I wonder to myself why he bothers attending games. ...and I thought that grumbling about the players was just a "feature" on the terraces (back in the old days!!!) at White Hart Lane ;D Still, with the price of footie tickets these days, fans are entitled to complain

Gryffe, Adrian Boot has long been a friend of mine. I think he's a good reggae photographer buy I also think that Jean Bernard Sohiez, Dave Hendley, David Corio and Dennis Morris are better photographers. I doubt if these four combined have made a fraction of the money Boot has though. I'm not criticising or undermining anyone. I'm just stating the facts.
Bedward, I have no Anglo Saxon blood at all, at all. The nearest I have is an Irish grandmother.
