I think I'm too cynical to care. I'm fed up watching the likes of Beyonce, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez ad infinitum writhing around semi-clad in their sad little pop videos to try to persuade us to buy their mush.
It's not that they're difficult on the eye or anything, just that I resent their apparent need to do this due to a severe lack of talent.
I think it's deceitful, much more honest (but far less lucrative) to peel it off for Playboy etc. instead of pretending to have something to offer the music world.
Crashing bore Freddy.

The duet (with Jay-Z) I'm talking about has her writhing about, though a little less than "semi-clad"

may they nejoy their moment of fame : ten years down the line and everybody will be too pleased to make fun of the mandatory choreographies in their videos! those who will be too prone to do so will of course be those who are keen on them now. in this regard, i've seen a few tv shows based on this concept pop up on commercial channels (the 80's as a target seems to be the order of the day!). still, it's pretty much obvious that the host (if they are in their late thirties) and the audience were into that kind of stuff: burn what you adored, adore what you burned! ( don't know if such phrase exists in english, though). plastic shit or music sex?
