This is taking place at the Forum, which is nowhere near Stokie. Leroy Sibbles left the Heptones in 1977 or 1978, is now a solo artist and is unlikely to be with the group. The line up will be Earl Morgan, his friend Barry Llewellyn and one other. I though the Silvertones lead singer died some years back. And who are the Ethiopians, Leonard Dillon and more friends?

Last time I caught the 'heptones' it was indeed Earl Morgan, in a xmas bash in Bradford. Notable for the brightness of his red jump suit rather than the quality of his voice unfortunately. Still at least Bob Andy saved the evening from being a total disaster

I think he still is big youth but whether he turns up for this gig is another matter as according to dom on b a f he's not been booked for this show. The poster for this show doesn't mention any names except sounds and backing bands, but the tickets are on sale for all the above names....who knows....

When the Heptones played Paris last year Leroy Sibbles was very much with 'em....it was he Barry Llewellyn and a young singer from London making the trio...well worth thr trip! Seems a couple of differences got patched up... Pilot

Not the long standing differences between Earl and Leroy though.

Not the long standing differences between Earl and Leroy though. Observer Last year in France they were indeed Leroy & Barry. Wicked vocals! Earl can't sing. Saw him 2 years ago as the "Heptone"...offkey
