Liked it once the sembene took off and the dancing ditto; first impression was it was a bit leaden up to then but I'll give it another try.

It could have been a bit shorter but the sebene is quite good.

Usually I like the long Congolese tunes, especially by the likes of OK Jazz, where there is a steadily building insistence to the instrumental backing and beautifully modulated solo and chorus with the vocals which is rarely less than captivating, but I found this tune a bit one-dimensional and plodding until the sebene. But as I said I will give it another go; sometimes you just don't get into the same room as the music but a subsequent listening can open the door.
