I have always like the song Obangaina which Rachael Magoola recorded with the Afrigo Band in 1999, here a perfect live version of the song :
and from the same concert the Afrigo Band with the song Sikulimba:

Splendid. Checked my collection of Ugandan sounds and it's decidedly meagre; regarding Afrigo Band just a couple of songs, one called "Mp’eddembe" and the other featuring the self-same Rachel Magoola with a song called "Mundeke" (both these on the encyclopaedic African Serenades selections chosen by, respectively Natari Nick (vol 32) and Likembe's John B (vol 47b); big up the pair of them! and you too, Ronald, for sharing these clips).

It seems the Afrigo Band is the only band in Uganda playing this type of music the younger generation preferring Rap/Hip Hop, R&B or Reggae.
Here two more concert clips of that band taken last year when they were touring the USA, I can't get enough of that guitar sound:

No, it is not a Zaiko tune Mike but the Afrigo Band is also influenced by Congolese music.
