I recently landed a late-night spot on KCSB 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara: Wednesday mornings 2 AM - 4 AM California time, or 10 AM - noon GMT. The show streams from www.kcsb.org, or if you're in the Tri-County area and up late you can tune in over the airwaves. The show is titled "Yardbeat" and I play a pretty wide spectrum of Jamaican music, the emphasis is on quality tunes from any era. Playlists and downloadable archives soon come.

It's actually not so bad - I'm a grad student and have flexible hours, and tend to keep late hours anyways (usually go to sleep around 1-2 AM), so it's not that big a stretch to stay up until 4. I was dreading being given a 4-6 AM slot so I feel pretty lucky to get this one just starting out. Hopefully after paying my dues I can move up to a higher-listenership time, though!
