I keep the various artist albums in a different room from my Ethiopians albums. In retrospect I think I always noticed something but it just dawned on me today. Is this the same model on these two great Trojan albums? "Woman Capture Man" the Ethiopians (Trojan) "You Can't Wine" Various Artist (Trojan) By the way, I know what you're looking at.. ;D Cole

Yes it is the same model. I used to know her name but like most things it's lost in the mists of time - or my aging memory.

I used to love all those old reggae covers from back in the day,Tighten up vol 2 was a particular favourite. This girl featured on a lot of covers if i remember rightly, although i can only remember Dave Barkers "Prisoner of love"

aka Lucienne Camille. Sadly she died in 2006. Apparently she used to live in Blackheath and was one of the girlfriends of the Marquis of Bath, the hippyish aristocrat who owns Longleat. She was a minor character in several episodes of Up Pompeii with Frankie Howerd as well as a more infamous Italian film ... (nudge nudge, wink wink) Did you know her, Steve? I'm sure she must've drawn a few people into reggae collecting.

She appeared on several other Reggae LPs back then as well.
PRISONER OF LOVE and the M.F.P. REGGAE PARTY offering are two (I think)

I couldn't find M.F.P. REGGAE PARTY but.. "Prisoner of Love" Dave Barker with the Upsetters (Trojan) I did a bit of a web search for "Lucienne Camille" and I was surprised at all the hits. She even has a Wikipedia page. Unfortunately it's in the French edition of Wikipedia so I won't be able to read it until I bone up on my French (like never). I did find one more picture. If this breaks any rules let me know but.. Lucienne Camille. She is noted on the internet as an actress with several films. It's true, she did pass away in 2006. Quite a lovely lady. Cole

Did a search for her and ended up at a Swedish forum where several people claim that she lived in Stockholm during the seventies working at the highly controversial strip club Chat Noir. She supposedly also was working as a prostitute during this time. For anyone that knows Swedish; www.flashback.info/showthread.php?t=163602&page=13

Typical ... ;D Well here's an example of her charms (not especially work safe ) picturepile.net/files/dtxezn4mhcnzlzddqwow.jpgTIP: If you open the image you'll see it looks very poor but if you save it and reopen it you'll find a great improvement.

Ta Freddy mate For some strange reason the phrase "chapel hat pegs" springs to mind. Though "blacksmith's apron" doesn't
