That'd be an almost impossible task for me, Matt...I wouldn't know where or how to start ...but I'll have a think anyway... ...and being an ignoramus when it comes to African music, I don't know any on your list

LPs
1. Mohamed Gubara "Sounds of the Sudan volume 3" (I wouldn't sell this for £1,000) 2. Abdel Aziz El Mubarek "Straight from the heart" 3. Fairport Convention "Unhalfbricking"
7" Singles (aka my supplementary pension plan)
1. The Long Blondes "Giddy Stratospheres" b/w "Polly" and "Darts" 2. The Long Blondes "Appropriation (by any other name)" b/w "Lust in the movies" 3. The Long Blondes "Separated by motorways" b/w "Big infatuation"
- all three signed.
Er, that's it. The entirety of my collection. (I gave my vinyl copy of "Blackboard Jungle Dub" to Mr Niblet in exchange for a CD-R copy that subsequently flaked and went bad).

Can't single out any being most treasured at the moment, but I do of course appreciate the autographed copies of Bob Andy's Song Book, Dennis Alcapone's Forever Version & The Best Of Alton Ellis.

My number one treasured piece of vinyl is also my autographed copy of Bob Andy's Songbook.
Also signed copies of Forever Version, Best Of Horace Andy, Marcia Griffiths' "Steppin", Dillinger's "Ready Natty Dreadie" and my signed 45 of Jerusalem by the Abyssinnians, signed by the current line up last year.
Respect
Gordy

Can't narrow it down to 5 either, but topping the list would be my (reissue) copy of "Tago Mago" by Can, signed by Damo Suzuki and the late Michael Karoli. Also high on the list would be my mint condition orig. UK "pouch" cover issue of the same LP, one of my very favorite rock records ever, rivalled only by the Stooges - Fun House.
