quoting Zap: " There's a whole heap of work gone into this that the likes of us are just free-loading on...I'll make a suitable comment shortly." Interested to hear your thoughts as I'm sure would be folks like BMD. I feel that it's a shame that it's so hard to earn some money off these labours of love. Even just a paltry sum to help justify all the time and effort. Sometimes it seems that the only ways to earn anything on dis ya web is to sell something tangible (ie: that has to be mailed out) or to show some flesh. ;D Put it away Zoki! There is so much indispensible information on the web which comes completely free of charge - the likes of which you may not ever find in books or magazines.

I wonder what the story was behind them losing the domain. I hope that new place doesn't get too much like DHR, or too commercialized.
I also cling to the hope that one day, we'll all be able to find a message board that we can exist at now that Blood and Fire is no longer the premeir site that it used to be. (not saying that anything else has taken the throne, just that so many crucial people have deserted the place.) Maybe reggae-riddims.com can be the new place???

All the crucial people are here, well not quite ALL, Dave Hendley hasn't joined but we still have some of the most knowledgable people here these days. Love him or hate him, Jah Reel is a walking encyclopaedia on this music. And there are several other members who are just as knowledgable in their chosen fields. Who's gonna test Bedward on African music? Who's gonna test BMC on modern tunes? And so on......
