Prime Time GirlIt's on the flip side of Righteous Youth {5th Element label} First off, what's the 'original' riddim to this Prime Time Girl??? It's sitting in the back of my brain but won't come up any further...[is it from a Gregory Isaac tune??] Here's a sample of Prime Time Girl: s24.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0THL22KH3ZVY43GX755GI8VUUU[not the best lyrics but the riddim is really rollin on this one] Thanks....

Not one of my favourite Richie Spice tunes on first listen (it is also included on the Spice In Your Life album) but it has an insidiously catchy nature that cannot be denied...I think I had it running through my head all day at work one time a few months ago when I was spinning the album pretty regularly! I just wish 5th Element would actually put out a proper version to that lovely Righteous Youths riddim on the b side of one of their singles...I've got two singles on the rhythm and both have some unrelated vocals on the other side

Why thank you Semi...I think you are pretty wonderful too ;D
Today was another Richie Spice day at work btw...this time it was All For a Cause on the Jamrock rhythm on permanent rewind on the ol' cerebral radio...all on account of listening to it on a cdr on the morning commute...
