indeed ! i love all those silly lyrics -and shrieky female backing vocals ! - he used to write before he went post-ultra-galactic and beyond...there are some of his 80's tune on Island that i also enjoy for similar reasons, but the music doesn't kick as much ass (he knows a lot about asses, anyway!)

"Mother In Law" every time! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGG
The guy was obviously a tad eccentric, even back in 64.

Are we talking about Shenley Duffus' "Mother-In-Law" from 1964 - bit early for a Scratch production, wasn't it? If so, then great, I'll update my database - if not then who produced it? Thanks BTW - for those who don't know, this "Mother-in-Law" is nowhere near the same as Ernie K. Doe's tune of the same name from 1961.

Perry cut "Mother In Law" for Dodd as well as Shenley Duffus. Perry did not produce it, Just sing and shout pon it!!
"The Woodman" is a great track too!!

Agreed about the "Woodman" ;D , Nick (apparently, they're an untrustworthy lot, with all their wood !!)
