Ok..i am probably going to start putting myself out there to do some small DJ gigs..nothing too hard..but I am thinking of a name...and this is what I came up with..but I think it would be cool to see what others have used..or would use..

Sounds nice, like a Label Name..
I've always fancied big mikey dread of King Rockers Lo Tone Hi Fi.
Or Blackfoot Hustler as a sound or outfit name.

Well I dunno how Tony Screw would feel about it but then again he doesn't own the rights to the name Downbeat does he?

Yeah..I would never ever think of using that name in a place that has a big or even small reggae following..but as far as I can tell Minnesota is still growing..

when referring to yourself.. are you naming yourself as a DJ or are you naming your equipment (aka amps and boxes.. your set).. if not a set i would skip the "hi fi" part
re: the downbeat thing.. if you think you can represent on that level...

Yes..it is a bit much to use "Downbeat", however when I play..it will mostly be Studio One..
Maybe..similar to the Tom The Great Sebastian...
