Not very well up on modern day roots but this one was by a couple of oldies; Have had this album since around the time it came out. They were both guests on Mark Lamarr's radio show and I liked what I heard. I think it's a lovely album and have played it to death. I never seem to see it mentioned anywhere and just wondered what others thought of it? What about other more recent works by some of the more mature singers? Anything anyone would recommend?

Well - two that I can think of off the top of my head:
Vivian Jones - Big Leaders
Sugar Minott - Leave Out of Babylon
both deserve repeated listens.
