Say no to cruise missiles. Penny Reel & Ringo, still fighting Thatcher at Reel Towers, 16/3/06
Big big session, too many tunes to list, but the 30 straight Fari toasts and productions kicked it off to a good start and soon warmed the flat up. From Cry Cry onto Jah Stitch, highlights being: Ethiopia (Distant Drum), a dreader than dread Errol Holt production Judgement (Jammys) on the Yabby U cut to Open The Gate Rock Man Soul (Prophets) Next up came THE Dean Fraser cut to Satta, Dahina Dimts (Clinch) but no let up as the selection took in some crucial Rock Steady from the likes of The Wrigglers (The Cooler, Giant) and a trio of Zoot Simms numbers including the mighty "All Rudies In Jail" (Studio 1). Finally we hit the Ethiopians to round off the session with 10 or so of the most crucial cuts, Conquering Lion hitting hardest. Nice Rudies Nice Rudies Nice Rudies Nice Rudies Nice Rudies Nice Rudies Nice Rudies Nice Rudies

Gordon, I spoke to MSE on his birthday and he was fine. Baby is doing well and they're just at that stage where they're starting to get some sleep. I'm sure normal service will be resumed in the next few weeks. Cheers, Ringo
