They will be in stock next week (Already in transit, I confirmed this only yesterday!!) and so I am happy to take reservations for them now on a first come first served basis!! Pressing runs are very limited between 500 and 700 hundred titles of each and all stock has been pre-sold by the distributor so when they are gone thats it!! Details as follows;

Nice to get my hands back on Rude Boy having traded it a year or so ago. It's one I didn't really want to part with. The original is expensive to get hold of. The only Clarke 12" off that Lp that I personally think it's worth having, however Guide Us Jah is the next best tune there so... I got my 12" of Rude boy throguh yesterday from DV, and fine it is..

Don't know tim, but on the same question by Zapo over at B&F RMS answered: Zapo I've seen the labels for the repress & I can tell you anyone who had the originals will be able to tell the difference immediately

Strange brew for sure Freddy......I can't say I was bowled over with these...good tunes for sure, but maybe over a decent system they would impress me more. The Sylford Walker sounded like a pale Spear IMO...and only the rude boy cut from JC did it for me, other one sounded pedestrian. Are these really all that good in the flesh, so to speak?? Pilot

That Rude boy tune (didn't I say it was the only killer ;-)) sounds gtreat loud and big, I traded the original and was happy to get hold of it again. I have one or two other Clarke tunes, a Jr. Delgado on ART and Craft and only Rude boy gets me moving.
Must be loud

I have only ordered the Jailhouse 12" from Steve in RMS. The others just didn't kick it for me to be honest.

I'm ordered Guide Us Jah, Jail House and Motherless Children. Rude Boy is good tune, but I prefer Attack Gold's 10" cut named Don't Want to be a Rudeboy.. Sylford Walker's tune didnt impressed me

IMO the Sylford Walker tune is killer cool country style JA roots music ...give it a chance. The Jah Stitch version on the flip is almost as good and has the dub. I'm kicking myself that I had to sell an original Johnny Clarke - You better try - Art & Craft 12" that I picked up in Leicester for £3. Slim hope of finding that again for small money.
