Hey Gordy, we just play what we play I was just enjoying the Studio One Soul 2 cd today and noticed that I'm still in love with Swing Easy (although the rest is pretty good too).

Classic tune, but is it a soul cover? Could swear it's based on "Fiddler On The Roof".......

There are some non soul covers on this album, but I like it better than Studio One Soul 1. Soul Jazz name their albums after some marketing strategy not on the content And sure Swing Easy is based on "Fiddler..".

"Row Fisherman Row - Wailing Souls" is indeed a great tune and a great performance, but not sure about the smile - isn't it a sad song - he's having problems at home...?

yes, the WS are trying to cheer up the guy in the song and advise him to move on because his girl"has been playing dirty tricks" on him.
