Today I received the new limited edition 12 inches on Education and they're highly recommended imo:
Leroy Brown feat. Clint Eastwood - Color Barrier b/w Leroy Brown feat. Captain Charghand - Gone Gone
&
Mighty Threes - Rasta Business; Rasta Business Dub b/w Mighty Threes - Sata (Version 1); Sata (Version 2)
Pressing and sound quality are superb. Deep bass, clear sound. The tunes are excellent too. Didn't recalled the Mighty Threes as very good, but I really like this 12", especially Rasta Business. For some reason it sounds much better than on the CD-R I have of them. The Leroy Brown is great too, with nice deejay parts. These to me are examples of repress 12's that really are something special and very worthwhile additions to any reggae collection. More like these please.
Also got in three Winro Studio One 12's I didn't have yet and managed to find at Patate online shop, so I now have all 4 of them. I guess it goes without saying that these are lovely records too.
Come Now Sister - Freddie McGregor/Mr Jolly Man - Horace Andy
Happy Man - Gladiators/How Sweet - Tyrone Evans
Just Another Day - J.E.Tafari/Shockers Rock - Skatalites
(already had Mr Bassie - Horace Andy/Unchained - Bob Andy)
It's been a good week for records this week. With the above, the Bunny Lie Lie feat. Lee Van Cliff - Who Cork The Dance 12" and a few brand new LPs I bought on a record fair today for only 5 euro each (for example I-Roy - Touting I Self, Richie Spice - Universal, Junior Byles - Beat Down Babylon, The Best of The Maytones plus one or two more).
