Watched a superb 45 minute documentary on The Community Channel on cable last night.
Filmed in 1979 (credited to the UK Arts Council) it gave an interesting insight in Linton's poetry and what life in England was like for blacks in the late 70s.
Plenty of footage of Linton in the recording studio, putting stuff together in a house with the band as well as footage of London riots, life in London, a brief bit about soundsystems, including about 1 min of a young Shaka and footage of Dennis Bovell (I think) mixing a dub in the studio.
Interesting piece about George Lindo as well.
Programs are usually repeated quite often on The Community Channel so keep an eye out for it. Recommended.

...and his 1982(?) Radio One series "From Mento To Lovers' Rock" was an unmissable piece of radio, too. Broadcast on Sunday evenings, the show was in ten parts (over 10 weeks). I still have them all on cassette somewhere - must put them onto CD one day
