>it would be nice to just come to this site and see whats happening At the risk of a couple of mouse-clicks and a little scrolling causing unnecessary inconvenience : One-offs: www.rastaites.com/events/whappen.html (Gordy's listed the big shows) Regulars: www.rastaites.com/events/whapreg.htm(a mixed bag, I'd guess - some big, some small, some good, some not so good)

and that roddy gig looks nice too.
i would like to catch mafia and fluxy in session somewhere...any idea if they are backing anyone during that time frame?

Horace Andy's playing down here in Brighton (1 hour south from London on the coast- about 12 quid on the train) on the 9th of Nov. with support from Clash HiFi (Augui's lot) and Roots Garden, who are the lot who put out that Johnny Osbourne Blackliner 7".
If you were here on the 3rd of December you could see the weirest line-up I've ever seen: Congo Natty (The Rebel MC) with Tenor Fly, Top Cat and Lee "Scratch" Perry. Very odd that..

I just saw The Velvelettes (original Motown line-up) in Bedford, and was mightily impressed. They are playing next weekend too: I think they're in Wellingborough on Friday and pETERBOROUGH ON sATURDAY.

I know he was doing some work wit regard to the Velvelettes - certainly in relation to their website. This was a contributing factor to his having to quit as the Trojan forum moderator...

I have never met Mr. Hardin and was not told that he was there, so I am not sure. Sorry! The promoter is Paddy Grady.
