I have had a station* on in the car for the last few weeks pumping out 'african' music. i would like to have some for the house but have no clue where to start. the ones i love have a quickish tempo, a strong beat and must have the sparkly guitar lines over the mix. any recommendations gratefully received. i don't even know the genre of the music i am after - afro beat, high life? you tell me.
thanks in advance.

* broadcast from Camberwell of course - the music is interspersed with ads for local dry cleaners, money agents and hair shops.

..or, Toby, if you'd prefer mp3s, I can send African Serenades 5: Sparkling Guitar Songs easily via Wetransfer.com - you'll need broadband - about 139Mb - just give me an email address. Altho i say it meself, it's a compilation i keep going back to. Thanks to that Matt Temple for first wising me up to some of the content.
