Agreed, Kas. You've inspired me to dig out my copy. Have a karma point.

Instead of starting a new thread.
Ok, Ok
ROY HARPER at the Royal Festival Hall [05/11/2011] stunning performance.
David Bedford & Bert Jansch tribute via Roy had him close to tears.
Seen him many times, REALLY sublime version of 12 Hours Of Sunset, Hallucinating Light, Me & My Woman, kicked off with Highway Blues.
Son Nick came on for accoustic guitar suppliment.
Certain Mr. Jimmy Page came and added guitar to Same Old Rock as the 2nd of 3 encores.
For 70 years of age, his vocals are still there.
Big up for the David Bedford Orchestra replacement, they were more than adept.
When An Old Cricketer Leaves The Pace, especially..
The banter, before playing the sublime version of 12 Hours Of Sunset, was ace!.
Chuckle, Roy Harper telling a heckler to shut up!!! - place went so quiet.
Best of ALL the times i have seen him.
Peace Luv Gp x

Not so much as non-reggae etc...
But, Dweezil Zappa Thursday @ The Anvil, Blasingsmoke, played a blinder, shut yer eyes, Frank was present, "Apostraphe (') was brilliantly rendered, faithfully.
Even, the Belmont Dame was gob smacked!!
Otherwise, from the brilliant compilation - Deusche Elektronische Musik - 2CD Track 5 - CD2 - Popol Vuh - Aguirre 1 - beautiful sounds.
Peace love Masala Fisn n Chips X

Selda - Selda (Finders Keepers CD) - What an incredible album this is. It's mid-70's Turkish folk with some wild influences in the mix. It's funky as hell.

I'm not sure I've ever been paneered before, Mike
This evening it's been "Radio Mali" from Ali Farka Toure. For all the talk of the ancestry of the blues, the very strong impression I got from the guitar on the first track "Yer Mali Gakoyoko", before Ali starts singing, was that I was listening to Martin Carthy playing. Listen, the similarity is uncanny.
