well, i found them here in a store called "Zweitausendeins", this is a chain specialing in cheap books & cds.
they often change their catalogue and maybe next time they offer a bunch of cheapo blue note cds.
always worth a look once inna month ...................

Intersting, Mario - thanks for that. We have a chain of shops here in the UK (called Fopp) that used to be a bit like that - but they've gone MOR, with very few genuine deals any more, for us JA music lovers

yes.
i thought "buy them all, learn about them later". and for a price of 2,99 euro (some only 1,99) what can go wrong even if you don't like everything ?
"deals" like that are what we all are looking for, right ?

I'm green with envy...
A local department store here in Helsinki sold a hefty selection of older Trojan compilation cds for 5 euro each last winter. Stuff ranging from Justin Hinds' "Ska Uprising" and Paragons' "My Best Girl Wears My Crown" to "Dancehall Stylee". I salvaged quite a few of them too.

I still like going in record exchangers and finding the cheap odd single or three. Over the years I've got hundreds of tunes this way.
