Went to see Kekele on sat night in Paris P, brilliant brilliant gig in a very small club! I'll post a review later. I'm not so sure on the new album...the cynic in me says, despite the history of Congolese rhumba, that they are mining the Cuban thing for as much Buena Vista as they can when they don't really need to...Congo Life was a great great LP mixing both styles. But to see these great musicians get their just rewards is a pleasure. If they swing by near you don't miss 'em! Pilot
