Just having a calming hour or so listening to the "Heavy Classix" compilation. Favourite tracks today have been: Romeo and Juliet, Suite No. 2 for orchestra, Op. 64 - Montagues and Capulets ...by Prokofiev, it's an easily recognisable, stirring piece of music. ...and Khachaturian's Sabre Dance

...and Khachaturian's Sabre Dance You should listen to the original version by Dave Edmund's Love Sculpture -- it's a top Welsh tune

;D Got the original single way back then , Nick - Columbia R5744 1968 - and I remember, as a youth, buying this in Owen's Newsagents (they had a small selection of chart records out the back) in Cleveleys...

I had forgotten about the time when newsagents had smallish amounts of records for sale -- that was how I first got hold of a copy of Lorraine Ellison's Stay With Me. It was an import re-issue. Very impressive remebering the catalogue number off the top of your head Joe

Although I can remember a few catalogue numbers, Nick - I have my (Lotus Approach) music database installed on my work laptop - easy enough to get details like this (and lists).
Best buy from this newsagent (which disappeared in the early 90s I think) was Bob & Earl's "Pickin' Up Loves Vibrations" (an excellent slow burner) on U.K. Uni UN519 (from my database!!!) in 1970
