Many thanks for those discs Rosko. They look great. I'm going for an initial listen now while I wash up the dishes. Thanks again and respect Baldy

Nothing makes a man sing the blues like a sink full of dirty dishes.
Enjoy, and don't forget to moisturize after washing up.

Good tip Rosko As it turns out - I left the CDs at work - still unlistened to - so I had the pleasure of African Serenades 14 (WHICH IS GREAT). Blues and Hank Williams tomorrow I think. Thanks again and respect Baldy

I'm intrigued - how did the washing up go? Up to Anita's exacting standards, I hope? ;D ;D

Washing up was ok Zapa. Music was great though. I keep coming back to wondering how I can fit a dishwasher in my kitchen. Since having kids, I spend my life with my hands in the sink - glamourous life that I lead Respect Baldy

Silver Dollar is a great bar. I actually saw "Eek-A-Mouse in the basement of the club (or was it the dive hotel next door?).
The ceiling of the place couldn't have been more than 8 feet high. Mr. Mouse had trouble every time he waved his arma around.

That would be "The Comfort Zone" rosko, which doubles as an all-day rave spot on Sundays for those still going strong from the nite before. Dodgy as feck. Ironic name for such an uncomfortable venue!
I've caught The Skatalites, Mad Professor, Slackers with Laurel Aitken and many locals down there as well. Narrowly missed the Burning Speak which I'm still kicking myself over.
