Hmmm! I love this Herbie Mann "Hi-Jack" and also have a cover by Barrabas, which although a little lighter is still pretty good - I bought that one in Spain - in '75 probably

Re Willie Henderson (isn't "Dance Master" a winner, better than its vocal, IMO)
...I do have another tune by him - "Funky Chicken" (can't remember if it's the same as Rufus T) on the "Story Of Brunswick" Metro METRCD511

Some British Funk "Do It Over" (Olympic Runners - Pete Wingfield et al) - a rarity at one time, I believe - and released in the US before we ever saw it here

Quoting CD: Tuned in 10 MIns F***kin' excellent mate Walking right down my boulevard C.D ...since Lawrence picked up the wrong record box, there's funk all the way to 2am. Hey Lawrence, JGW did have a strange voice - it'd be even stranger now, since he died several years ago

Crystal World - Crystal Grass (whichever way round ) It had to be played before I went to bed (also on Soul Serenades volume 2) Thanks Lawrence mate - thoroughly enjoyed it - but I must turn in before I turn into a pumpkin (tho some might say I already look like one) I'll catch the rest via <Listen again> - of the "reggae you haven't got with you tonight" Enjoy yourself!!!
