Actually Ian it runs from Thursday the 3rd to Sunday the 6th over 4 days. While I have only massive respect for the organisers I just hope it works out.I used to do a lot of the 2 day fairs in London & Birmingham & whilst it's a noble venture the truth is the best stuff was always snapped up on the busy Saturday & unless you lived round the corner you couldn't replace stock & the Sunday was a damp squid,so whether 4 days will work I doubt but very good luck to them.Record fairs need to be well organised enough to embrace the vinyl revival that's happening right now with a new generation of collectors & nouveau riche Russian/Eastern European big buyers & the signs are very encouraging. It's a long way off to the heady days when I used to drive to the Electric Ballroom in Camden & back in a day to sell records to the flood of tourists visiting the market but who knows?

Brick Lane's like the new Camden these days, so there should be plenty of passing trade too, but yes it'll be interesting to see how it pans out over a few days. Its a new venture and is promising some European sellers who don't normally come to London, so we'll see who turns up and with what...
Also on Friday 4th is the fortnightly Spitalfields Record Fair just round the corner, so that looks like it might be a good day to go record hunting in East London!
