Shalamanda Hifi, Dubquake and Fruitical Vibes are in a manner of speaking the Vienna’s flagship regarding Dub, Roots Reggae, Dancehall and Jungle. Their heavy sound is spread out to the crowd by a massive self made sound system. Every Crew managed to establish a good reputation within the local and international scene in a very short space of time for themselves. Furthermore they are the hosts of the very first and biggest Dub-Festival right here in Muzik City Vienna, called “Dubquake Vienna”.
They run their events at the Club U – which is located directly in the heart of Vienna – monthly. For all those who visited one of their shows know what you can expect from this sound system – heavy heavy bass indeed.
We all are very excited to welcome you to the open decks warm-up session at the Club U on two floors. For all those of you who want to take the opportunity to spin your own records on a huge sound system, just send us a short introduction at musical-pressure[AT]dirty-dozen.at

The Tighten Up Crew from London/UK are Tim P (selector), Mistah Brown (selector) and Champian (MC). They ran a revival club night between 1999 and 2009 called Tighten Up and they are currently promoting a monthly 80's Digital Dancehall session called “Trash & Ready”.
Tighten Up started because no one was quite doing Reggae the way they wanted to do it or playing the music they thought should be heard. So Tighten Up started off mixing up Reggae, Ska, Rocksteady and 80's Dancehall with Funk and Latin initially but realised quickly that this meant to make too many compromises as you never really reach an audience that truly loved Jamaican music. Tim P & Mistah Brown didn’t want to be one of the many 100% Dynamite imitators – watering down their content for people who really don’t even like Reggae – so they moved to a 100% Jamaican playlist instead and never looked back. Their guests are a combination of mates, selectors, journalists and fans of Jamaican music who have admired the event for years as well as those who’ve approached them because of the night’s reputation. Ranking Joe and Clive Chin are just two of many big artists they worked with in the past.
We are more than happy presenting you the legendary Tighten Up/Trash & Ready Crew and the MC veteran Champian from the 1980's South London sound system "Jamdown Rockers", for the first time ever in Vienna (Austria). Be sure that there will be no other show like this in Vienna in the near future.
Thundering Vibration Crew (Lübeck/GER)

www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1202107396
Thundering Vibration, a DJ Crew from Lübeck (Germany), consists of “The Great Wuga Wuga” and his brother “Big Bam Roon” – two die-hard collectors with more than seven years experience in the matter of collecting and selecting. They run their regularly and well-known “Moove & Groove” nighter in Braunschweig (Germany) where strictly early Jamaican Music just like Ska and Rocksteady can be heard. In respect of their nice taste of music they have gained a good reputation over the past years hence they selected across the big pond in San Francisco, Los Angeles as well as in Zurich and Kiel together with the Rocksteady Daddy himself Asher G and Tiny T. Now they are ready to shake up Vienna with their massive original Ska and Rocksteady collection. They are more than just DJ-mates but rather good friends of us and therefore it’s a great pleasure to have them on board. Just like Tighten Up it’s their first time spinning records here in Vienna.

The Dirty Dozen - together with the Treasure Isle Crew - are the hosts of "Musical Pressure - Muzik City Vienna". We - that’s Little Boy Blue, Dr. Rodney and Monsieur Django - did some occasional events under name “Awake The Town” in the past and launched our regular night called “Dance All Night” at WIRR Underground in early 2009. Our first event there was total success and very well attended, so we decided to keep on with the good work and started to work on a bigger thing for our Muzik City - Vienna and the result will be Musical Pressure. See you at the Loft. Respect.

Yes, Tighten Up Crew will play both floors at Musical Pressure.
On the downstairs floor they will play a show with the same sounds as heard at the Trash & Ready event in London monthly, so all of you can expect the roughest, toughest old-school Dancehall and digital sounds. Trash & Ready sessions are all about the wickedest Dancehall classics and digital roots masterpieces, and chatting on the microphone from MC veteran Champian (Jamdown Rockers/South London) with lyrics galore and the biggest and best reggae vibes you'll find in town.
