Some vibes from Cameroon for those interested.
Sound quality is not so great on some encodings (encoded from low quality tapes).
A mixed bag, with ballads, popish songs, raw & raunchy bikutsi + some makossa.

Tracks:
01 donny elwood - negro et beau (from album Negro et beau)
- nice singer with funny and thoughtful lyrics
02 henri dikongue - c est la vie (from album Bulu)
- ballad with beautiful text about how great it is to become a father/mother
03 henri dikongue - na tem te idiba (from album Bulu)
- nice song on the pop side but with a reggaeish feel
04 mbarga soukous - nsono nsono (from album Nsono nsono)
- grass roots bikutsi, energetic singer who happens to be a cousin of my wife, love that track!
05 zele le bombardier - si j'avais su (from album Si j'avais su)
- another bikutsi number I really like, great backing vocals
06 k-tino - egalite oblige (from album Egalite oblige)
- popular female bikutsi singer, usually associated with slack lyrics
07 racine & le club sagath - nem mintie (from album Nem minitie)
- this title was the number one hit in Yaounde when I was there to marry, 2001 I think (see pics below to get a feel)
08 j. m. paris onambele - ane meve (from album Ane meve)
- another hit tune from the time I was in Yaounde
09 petit pays - mandela axania (from album Le cv de petit pays)
- makossa star, not a great singer IMO but very energetic and well known for his excentric / crazy / scandaleous behaviour, has many self given nick names among which 'jesus nephew' ......
