Just received a great Jah Cure cd today from Ringo and added on the end were a couple of hits by VC, 'By His Deeds' and 'Gwaaan'.
I remember By His Deeds from what must have been 2-3??? years ago, but can't say I've seen him release much, is he still about? any recommendations to look out for?
Cheers, Ian

He has gone very quiet since those tunes came out, there was supposed to be an album deal with VP building on the success of By His Deeds but something went wrong and it got shelved.
Those two tunes are his best, he also released a single called Friday on Harmony House which was pretty weak. There was some talk on the B&F board a while back about a couple of other singles but I kind of doubt they were talking about the By His Deeds guy. The name was slightly different plus I listened to a sample or two and it didn't sound like the same guy. Again, the consensus was that those tunes weren't up to much.

VC, a true example of what they call a "one-day-fly".

Sure to be a "whatever happened to this singer" question on the reggae forums of 20-30 years from now ;D

Sure to be a "whatever happened to this singer" question on the reggae forums of 20-30 years from now ;D hahaha, have I asked too early then? I should have waited a couple of decades! Thanks for your replies, I guess those singles will become more collectable over time if thats all he's recorded.
