' a talent beyond compare' - Quincy Jones. the pop/power ballad stuff left me a bit cold but she got down on more r and b offerings like 'your love is my love ' - her best tune for me. her gospel material is a whole different ball-game - all killer no filler gospel-thebigplanet.blogspot.com/2007/05/whitney-houston-sings-gospel.htmlRIP Whitney - born the same year as me, a bit spooky reading the obits this morning. Mr Easy, I can't comment on her gospel material, but if I never hear that histrionic wailing dirge "I will always love you" ever again I will die a happy man. I am obviously sorry that a once beautiful woman has died at a premature age, but honestly her version of that song could not be sung worse by some drunken legless female in a karaoke bar .
