Selling on Ebay?

Can anyone offer advice? Put up a couple of UK roots tunes but having gone into ebay.co.uk my tunes are not visible. I loaded the tunes onto ebay.com but I highlighted the fact that I post to the UK but still not visible. How do I get round this?

I think that when viewing the ebay.co.uk listings you have to specify that you want to view worldwide listings.

If it's a newly opened selling account I might be wrong but I think you have to have a verified paypal account before your items are visible on sites other than the one you listed it on.To verify an account you need to add a bank card to your paypal account & they then take 2 very small refundable payments from the account linked to the card then when they show on your statement you type in the amounts taken on paypal to verify the account is yours.Any doubts click on the customer support icon & you can chat with a ebay agent for free online.

Many thanks Taff, I have just checked and my account was verified. I did notice that there is a premier level for paypal.

However Phil Enthucol suggested to me that because I uploaded the sales on to Ebay.com it can cause problems. I have completed the shipping section that is supposed to make my items for sale visible on .co.ukl but some items are visible and some are not. I am pissed off because one of the items has fetched a healthy 3 figure in the past and despite over 70 views there hasn't been one bid yet. Anyway 3 days to go, here is hoping.

eBay is notoriously hit and miss. I've sold a few recently - some went for massively higher than expected, and some for hugely lower. Apparently, a VG pressing of "No More Slavery" by Glenmore Brown is worth EIGHT of your Earth pounds more than a VG- copy of Sylford Walker's "Chant Down Babylon" on the same rhythm

I very rarely auction stuff for that very reason, I put a buy it now price on everything with the make offer option that way I never sell anything for less than a price I'm happy to let something go for & if the buyer thinks it's too expensive they can offer what they're happy with making everyone a winner
